Understanding particle size and sieve analysis
A grade number is a product identifier, not a universal particle size. Each technical sheet lists sieve openings and minimum/maximum retention percentages. “On” means retained on that sieve; “through” or “pan” refers to material passing through the final sieve. Compare the whole distribution with your process requirements, rather than a single size.
The PDF columns headed “Result achieved” and “Average achieved” describe reported measurements. They are separate from the specification limits and do not certify a future shipment. Request a batch-specific COA and evaluate a sample before confirming suitability.
Storage and handling
Keep on pallets away from walls, protected from dampness, direct sunlight and rodents. The supplied sheets state storage at ambient conditions. Confirm the agreed storage and transport requirements for your destination.
